We recognize that this closure comes with very short notice. We apologize for the inconvenience and ask for your patience as we complete the remaining work.
An opening in the contractor’s schedule gave us the opportunity to finish the outdoor tennis court fencing project before cooler weather brings more players outdoors. Work will resume Wednesday, September 23, requiring the following court and parking closures.
All four outdoor courts will be closed September 23 – 29 while the fencing around Courts 9 and 10 is painted. Although the work is limited to that area, all four courts must remain closed because of the potential for paint overspray.
The adjacent parking lot will also be closed throughout this period. On weekdays, the tennis entrance gate will open from 3:45 – 7:00 pm for junior tennis drop-off and pickup traffic only. Parking will not be available in the lot.
The courts and parking lot are scheduled to reopen for full use on the evening of Tuesday, September 29.
The outdoor courts are also scheduled to be repainted in October. This work will be completed in two phases so that two courts can remain open for play:
October 6 – 10: Courts 7 and 8 will be closed.
October 14 – 18: Courts 9 and 10 will be closed.
Thank you for your patience as we finish this work. With our indoor courts newly resurfaced, completing the outdoor courts will give the entire tennis complex a fresh, consistent look.
If you have questions, General Manager, Mary Olson, will be happy to answer them.
